Rear defroster lines are easy to damage with a razor blade. We use steam and careful technique to lift film and adhesive without breaking the lines.

Most customers pair removal with new ceramic tint, so you leave with fresh film the same day.

Why does old tint turn purple?

Cheap dyed films break down in the sun and the dye fades to purple. Ceramic and quality carbon films don't fade this way.

Will tint removal damage my rear defroster?

Not when it's done properly. We use steam to soften the adhesive instead of scraping the defroster lines.
