Paint Protection Film (PPF)

A nearly invisible, self-healing shield that stops rock chips, scratches and road debris before they reach your paint. Every install is backed by a 10-year warranty.

What is paint protection film?

Paint protection film (also called PPF or clear bra) is a thick, transparent urethane film applied over your car's paint. It absorbs impacts from rocks, gravel, road debris, light scuffs, bug splatter and bird droppings, keeping your finish in factory-new condition and protecting your resale value.

Self-healing technology

The top layer is an elastomeric polymer that heals light scratches and swirl marks with heat. Warmth from the sun, your engine or a warm water rinse is enough to make light scratches disappear. Self-healing works on light scratches and swirls, not deep gouges.

PPF packages

Front End PPF is our most popular package and covers the bumper, headlights and front of the car where most rock chips happen. Track Pack PPF adds the full hood, fenders and more for drivers who see a lot of highway or gravel. Full Body PPF covers every painted panel for complete protection.

Our PPF process

Every install starts with a multi-step hand wash and clay bar decontamination, followed by paint correction to remove minor swirls and scratches. We then digitally cut the film patterns for your exact vehicle with professional software and plotters, so there's no cutting on your paint, and our installers apply the film for a clean, seamless finish.

PPF vs ceramic coating

They do different jobs. A ceramic coating adds gloss and chemical resistance but won't stop a rock chip. PPF is a physical barrier against impacts. For the best of both, we can apply a ceramic coating on top of your PPF.

Common questions

What does paint protection film protect against?

Rock chips, road debris, light scratches and scuffs, bug splatter, bird droppings and minor parking lot dings. Most rock chips happen on the front end, which is why Front End PPF is our most popular package.

How does self-healing PPF work?

The film's top layer is made from an elastomeric polymer. Heat from the sun, your engine or warm water lets it reflow, so light scratches and swirls disappear.

How much of my car should I cover with PPF?

Most drivers choose a front end package because that's where the majority of rock chips occur. If you drive a lot of highway miles or want complete protection, a track pack or full body package covers more of the car.

Does PPF come with a warranty?

Yes. Our self-healing PPF comes with a 10-year warranty.

Can I put ceramic coating on top of PPF?

Yes. A ceramic coating over PPF adds gloss and makes the film easier to clean.
